Clubs | Funding available through Sport and Recreation Victoria

Sport and Recreation have announced the latest round of grants available in the Sporting Club Grants Program.

The program provides funding for grassroots sport and recreation organisations across Victoria. It helps clubs to address barriers in participation, develop safe and sustainable practices, and build social and active local communities.

VRFish is a recognised state sport and recreation body which means our fishing club and association members are able to apply for funding through Sport and Recreation programs.

The latest grants program provides clubs with the opportunity to apply for funding in the following categories:

Category 1: Uniforms and Participation Equipment – Up to $1,000 to purchase uniforms and participation equipment.

Category 2: Skill Development – Up to $2,000 (clubs) and $5,000 (associations) for training courses or projects to upskill officials, volunteers or management committees.

Category 3: Operational Capacity – Up to $5,000 for projects that support organisations to operate more effectively in their communities, explore new participation opportunities and plan for future growth to ensure long-term success.

More information can be found on the Sport and Recreation website here or contact Sport and Recreation on [email protected] or 1800 325 206.

Applications close at 5pm on Thursday 21 July 2022.
