King George Whiting at Risk!
Commonwealth managed trawlers are targeting spawning aggregations of King George Whiting off Wilson’s Promontory. The Commonwealth Government don’t believe this will have an impact on recreational fishing for KGW. These trawlers have now been given the ‘green light’ to target these aggregations.
Contact Senator Duniam and demand a Zero Trip Limit be placed on the Commonwealth managed trawlers catching King George whiting in waters adjacent to Victoria.
