Central & Gippsland Region Sustainable Water Strategy

How your say on how water is managed in South central Victoria.

The Central and Gippsland region covers the waterways and catchments relied on by more than 6.2 million Victorians – from Warrnambool to Mallacoota.

The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning have opened preliminary engagement for the Central and Gippsland Region Sustainable Water Strategy via an online survey.

The Strategy will be a comprehensive plan for the sustainable use of water resources in the region. Feedback from the online survey will be used to develop the draft Strategy which is due to be released in July 2021.

The survey closes on Wednesday, 5 May 2021.
