Fishing and Boating Allowed Across Victoria!

All Victorians are now able to go fishing and boating throughout the state as travel restrictions have lifted overnight.

From 11:59pm on Sunday 8 November 2020 all Victorians can travel between regional Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne, and the 25km limit for Melbourne no longer applies. Melbourne and Regional Victoria are now subject to the same COVID-19 restrictions.

The ease of restrictions means that if you live in Melbourne, you can go fishing in Regional Victoria. Likewise, if you live in Regional Victoria, you can go fishing in Melbourne.

Boat ramps and jetties are open. If you’re using a facility or boating with people from another household, you must continue to adhere to physical distancing and other restrictions.
