Have Your Say on the new Altona Pier design

Altona Pier is a super popular land-based fishing spot, especially during the snapper run. The good news is it’s about to get an upgrade. Before it does, fishers have an opportunity to shape the design and tell Parks Victoria what we want to have in the design to make our fishing even better.

Your input will assist Parks in selecting a preferred design concept for the pier. Parks have provided three design concepts, with the community asked to explain why their preferred design best suits how they use the pier through the survey.

View the concepts and complete the survey here: https://engage.vic.gov.au/altona-pier-design-options

Community feedback closes in 19 August 2020.

Online Community Information Sessions

The community information sessions are being held to give community members the chance to hear from Parks Victoria about the project and the three design options, as well as asking questions.

  • Tuesday 4 August 5:30pm – 7:00pm | RSVP via Eventbrite
  • Wednesday 5 August 11:30am-1:00pm | RSVP via Eventbrite

In line with current health restrictions, the sessions will be held online using Microsoft Teams. Once you have registered for this event Parks Victoria will send you the details for how to participate on the day.
