Have Your Say on Gippsland Lakes future management

VRFish want to hear the views and opinions of as many Victorian anglers about the future of recreational fishing management arrangements in the Gippsland Lakes, and its rivers. VRFish welcomes the Andrews Labor Government policy to implement a fish recovery plan and a compulsory buy-back of commercial netting licenses to improve the quality the recreational fishing.

VRFish and local recreational fishers have been calling on Government to act for many years knowing that the Gippsland Fishery is in decline. Restocking programs, habitat restoration and improving water quality all need to be part of a future fish recovery plan. The passage of legislation to remove commercial netting has now been passed in the Victorian Parliament. VRFish is now seeking your input into the types of recovery measure YOU believe should be considered.

To assist us we ask that you complete the following online survey. To say thanks, we are offering a chance to go in the draw to win one of three $100 fishing store vouchers.  There are 23 short questions and should taken no more than 10 minutes to complete.
