March 1, 2018
Get involved in fish habitat at the ‘Tackling Fish Habitat’ event being held at Lake Boga on Sunday 18 March 2018.
The event is free and designed for recreational fishers who want to become involved in enhancing and protecting fish habitat or are already involved in fish habitat work but want to take their involvement to the next level.
Hear from fellow fishers already involved in on-ground projects, learn from experts working to rehabilitate aquatic habitat and find out how you can be a fish habitat champion in your local community.
You’ll even have a chance to help make fish havens with Lake Boga Men’s Shed and hear from Lake Boga Fishing Club about how the havens have improved fishing in Lake Boga. The day will include a bus visit to the new fishway on the Little Murray River, resnagging and riverbank works, and a free lunch.
Places are limited and registration is essential for catering and logistics.
